workout: rest day

I’m in super need of good news today. I woke up feeling blah. Clocky rolling under my bed at 5 am didn’t help either. I didn’t even mean to set him last night; today’s a rest day! I need Tuesdays off to get through the rest of the week. I use Fridays to cross train in the morning. I even set out workout clothes last night. I don’t know what I was thinking. Guess I was subconsciously being ambitious.

Oh, nifty note. I got a pedometer yesterday because I’m a dork. I just want to see how many steps I get in everyday. And it was only $5. Score.

I walk a lot. I always takes stairs, I ride public transportation to work in the city, I walk at lunch, and I’m a huge fan of getting out to walk after work with Matt and Scout (unless I’m super hungry and NEED to start dinner right away, but that’s not too often since I dig my hands into a bag of olive chips everyday when I get home from work, but that’s beside to point). I’m curious to see how far I actually go. Plus, it’s pink. I mean, come on.

If you have an idea to help others, tell someone because there’s a way to make it a reality.
